Why is there Suffering 8/5/84

Kriyananda explains suffering in terms of how the ego perceives it. In one sense you can say that the only reality is God. God is joy, not suffering. It’s when joy diminishes and we feel a separation from God that it appears that we are suffering. The ultimate cure for suffering is to think of God. Even amidst pain, suffering can be teach us how to get back to divine consciousness and the realization that all comes from God for our benefit. We can learn from suffering.

Social Patterns for the Future 7/7/85

One of the leading social patterns for the future is forming spiritual communities. We need to create a completely new vortex of energy for positive change. When we live for God, we are part of the solution for positive change.
