Man’s desire for enlightenment can fulfilled in higher realms than the little self
- Evolution is a divine process, not an accidental evolution. Man, has a highly developed sense of discrimination in comparison to other creatures. The goal toward ultimate illumination is innate in everyone.
- If we want to understand our true Self, we need to trace it back to the source. Most people look for that source outside of themselves, but it can only be found within.
- Our senses are intended to show us the world of phenomena, the world of matter. But there is another world behind that. The way to find it, is to go beyond ego.
- It is good to meditate on death, but not in a gloomy sense, but in an expansive way.
- We can’t possibly hold the perceptions of the universe within this little body or heart.
- Man tends to try to develop the world and our responses to the world. Let us rather, concentrate on our responses within ourselves.
- All the joy that our hearts crave for is in God. All the love we seek is in God.
- There is only one thing that is perfect, that is our maker, our source – God.
- Calm yourself with meditation and make yourself an instrument that vibrates to the sounds that emanate from the heart of the Creator.
The original title of Man’s Desire for Enlightenment was Oneness of Christ.
Another talk that was also renamed: Christ, The Bible & Becoming One with God, was also originally named Oneness of Christ.
It is possible these two talks were given in the same day or weekend, at different times.
